"Recording keeps failing and I feel a bit ignored"
I’ve been frustrated with cleanshot lately. Screenshots can be slow at random times, but the recording feature has been the bigger problem for me. It’ll stop unexpectedly, sometimes the audio doesn’t come through, and a few of my clips saved with weird glitches. I was using it for quick work captures, so having to redo things over and over got old fast. I also kind of felt ignored when the issues kept happening with no real fix. Maybe it works great for other people, but I’m tired of messing with it.
"Easy cloud sharing, with a fair few positives"
I’ve been using it for cloud sharing and, to be fair, it’s been smooth overall. Uploads are quick, and the sharing links work the way they should. I haven’t run into much trouble, so I’d say it does the job well without making things complicated.

"Editing tools just don’t feel very reliable"
I tried using the editing tools for annotations, but they felt clunky. Text boxes kept shifting around, arrows were annoying to line up, and the undo button didn’t always behave the way I expected. It made me question the overall quality a bit, and I wouldn’t really say it’s worth using for serious editing.

"Really good app, but the subscription gives me pause"
I use CleanShot almost every day for screenshots and quick screen recordings, it works really well. It’s clean, fast, and saves me a lot of little hassles, so even though the price felt a bit high at first, I do feel like I’m getting value out of it.
The only thing keeping me from being fully sold is the subscription side of it. I’m sticking with it for now because it genuinely helps my workflow, but if the price goes up much more or the value starts slipping, I’d probably start looking for another option.

"Clean Shot definitely looks nice, I’ll give..."
Clean Shot definitely looks nice, I’ll give it that, but it wasn’t as easy to use as I expected. Some of the buttons and settings felt tucked away for no real reason, and I found myself clicking around way too much just to take a basic screenshot. Maybe it gets better once you’re used to it, but I kind of blame the app here for making simple stuff feel more complicated than it needs to be.
